Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday is upon us and I am so excited! Every year I get so excited for Super Bowl Sunday no matter who is playing. Myself I am a Buffalo Bills fan since it was the closest team to me growing up and have went to a game and had the most fun I have ever had at a sporting event.

When I was living back in Canada I used to host a Super Bowl party with some of my friends and family but since living in England no one really cares about it here so it is just James and I. I am still going to make all the food I love to eat during the Super Bowl and drink some beer.

With any Super Bowl feast it starts with the wings with Buffalo sauce. Since I can't find a decent wing place here I make my own and will post a recipe here soon of my wings with homemade Buffalo sauce. Wings wouldn't be the same without celery, carrots and ranch dressing which I also make my own here. I love ranch dressing and have had to learn how to make it homemade which tastes delicious and is so easy to make. Next on the menu is sliders and mini chicken and waffles sandwiches, there is nothing like mini sandwiches to snack on during the game. Some side options I always make is devilled eggs, taco dip and beer & cheddar dip with nachos and homemade pretzels.

The key for a fun football game for me is to have lots of great food, big television, some brews and being excited for the halftime show. It is always a great time and I enjoy cooking, eating and watching throughout the game.
