The Last Few Days in Canada

So we made it to our Airbnb today in downtown Toronto. We had to move from our friends place because they are doing some major renovations so we decided to get an Airbnb for the remaining days that we are in Toronto. I love spending time downtown there are so many restaurants, bars, art galleries and so many different beautiful buildings. I hate driving downtown so having everything within a walkable distance.

Today after work we decided to check out the Rick and Morty installation in the abandoned subway station Lower Bay. The rain had cleared up so we decided to walk in the gorgeous sunshine and even though it took awhile we decided to walk through the University of Toronto campus to see all the beautiful architecture. When we finally made it to Bay Station we went down a set of stairs and there it was the Rick and Morty statues which was really cool to see. One of the things I am going to miss about Toronto is there is always something new and exciting to check out.

After we were tired so decided to head back to the condo and pick up some groceries along the way. We went into a Loblaws and James (my boyfriend) pronounced it "Bablaws" which is the way every Canadian kid pronounced it growing up, it is so funny that a British man would say that and it is pretty universal. Now that we are back in the condo I had my weekly chat with my girls and we decided to watch a film tonight and cuddle up on the big couch. I bought some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to share while we're watching the movie and we can end the day on a good note.

While I have enjoyed my time summer in Canada I am ready to go to England and start school there and I am antsy to get there however long it takes.

Happy Hygge!
