The Start of September

Although it doesn't feel like it outside autumn is coming swiftly. September is the start of fall when the days start to get shorter, it gets a bit colder and everyone gets back into their routine from summer holidays. I have always enjoyed September and now it is even more exciting since I am going back to school. The anticipation of a new school year is so exciting with new friends, new school supplies and new things to learn. To say I'm excited is an understatement and to study and then pursue career in the arts is something I have dreamt of and now I am finally doing it.

This school year has not gotten off to a good start as I am still in Canada and registration is on Monday but I am optimistic that I will get my visa and will be able to get to the UK very soon. Once I get there I have a long list of things to prepare. First off after not being there all summer the house will need a good airing out and a deep clean, I dread going in and seeing all the dust that has collected. Second is I need to buy my school supplies and a new printer. Through this getting into university and visa process I have learned that having a printer and a scanner is necessary for everything. I am looking forward to purchasing all my new school supplies and using them all to create my art.

After I am done prepping and getting back into the swing of things it will be getting very busy very quickly. With classes, homework, meal prep, this blog and my boyfriends podcast that I am on (https://macronshow.com) I will need to make sure I take some time to relax and enjoy the little things. I enjoy going for a walk in the crisp autumn morning, having some quiet time with a book and a lit candle in the evening or going to the pub with friends to have a drink and a chat. I will try my best to do at least one of these activities a couple of times a week.

Getting back into the swing of things will be weird at first after the summer but will be a lot of fun and I am very much looking forward to it. Let me know if you are looking forward to the fall and what you will be doing.

Happy Hygge!
